Support the U Day 2019
Join us for this free advocacy event
Wednesday, April 3
12:30 to 5 p.m.
Minnesota State Capitol
University of Minnesota students are Minnesota’s future skilled workforce—doctors and teachers, scientists and leaders. Through discovery and innovation, U of M research drives Minnesota’s economy while providing unique learning opportunities for our students. U of M outreach applies discovery and innovation, by faculty in every discipline, to improve lives across Minnesota and beyond.
All that’s missing in this picture is you! Pledge to participate now to support the University of Minnesota by joining us for a rally at the Capitol. Then meet with senators and representatives to support critical U of M projects:
- Support core mission activity
- Improve infrastructure
- Update research facilities
- Renovate AB Anderson Hall in Duluth
- Attract and retain the best faculty and staff
- Replace the Child Development building
All students, staff, faculty, and alumni can pledge to fight for U of M students. The Provost has provided a letter to urge your instructors to excuse you from class that day. Whether you can attend, or simply want to support the University of Minnesota on social media, register now!
